  17/12/2011: Primavera Coppa: Juventus - Lazio 2-0
email print
Last Wednesday the Lazio Primavera team suffered a disappointing defeat in the Youth Cup against Juventus. Home at Formello Juventus won the match 2-0.

Today the youngsters travelled to Torino for the second leg, to try and obtain a spot in the semi finals.

Coach Alberto Bollini had several of his key players out. Both top goal scorers this season, Tommaso Ceccarelli & Gonzalo Barreto stayed in Rome after failing to recover from their injuries. Luis Cavanda will again be involved with the first team and was not in the squad.

With so many key players out there was nothing the biancocelesti could do. Juventus won 2-0 this time as well, winning 4-0 over two legs. Juventus will now play Fiorentina in the semi finals while Lazio has to focus on the league.
