25/12/2011: Klose: My secret is that I try to improve every day

With the Christmas break here foreign Lazio players returned back home for the holiday. Oneof them is the German forward Miroslav Klose. He was one of the summer buys of president Lotito and at the age of 33, never been out of Germany, the transfer raised many questions. Six months, 9 goals and some assists later Klose is the star player of Lazio.

He spoke for the German media about his life in Italy: “I and my family are very happy in Rome. This was the most important aspect for me. For this reason before I signed I found a good house and a good school – everything needed for my family. There’s an extraordinary fluency and ease which people live their daily lives – the forward said and continued – it was easy to acclimate to Lazio, the warmth of the fans and coach helped me a lot.” Scoring 9 goals in 14 games Klose is Lazio’s most dangerous player: “I’m just doing what I’m paid for. To score is my job, but it is always nice to be recognized for the good job you are doing.”

Klose, at the age of 33, says he’s not done with football yet:” I’m never satisfied. I want to get better. My goal is to improve every day, learn something new. I’ve always done that in the phases of my career. When you start looking at the mirror and adore yourself, you better stop. From the sporting point of view everything is going great. I remain committed and ready to give my best in every game – added Klose.

Then he spoke about his future: “I have a three year contract here, but I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t want and I can not predict it” – concluded the forward.
