Brussels, yesterday morning, 10 o'clock.

Some 1500 km. away from Rome's Piazza della Libertà, in the suburbs of Brussels (Belgium), an official Lazio Polisportiva delegation arrived at Ixelles cemetery, to honour and rend homage to Luigi Bigiarelli, founder of Società Podistica Lazio, later S.S. Lazio.

Luigi's remains have been found last year in Ixelles, but till yesterday no official monument was installed for Lazio's founder.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Buccioni, President of Polisportiva Lazio, General Secretary Mr. Penza, Mr. Eichberg (Sodalizio), Mr. Lenzi (Lazio Chess), Mr. Gremese (Lazio Ski) and Mr. Pollini, Vice-President of the S.S. Lazio Athletics, but also greatgrand-son of Luigi Bigiarelli.

Other attendants were the Vice-Mayor of Ixelles, the representative of the Italian Embassy in Brussels, and many other Italian and European representatives.

The official delegation was also joined by ten or more Belgian Lazio-fans.  And Lazioland to.

After some speeches by all official representatives, the tombstone was revealed to the crowd present their, under a large applause.

As the greatgrand-son, Mr. Pollini mentioned in his speech, from today on, S.S. Lazio is not only an Italian sporting heritage, but an European too, thanks to Luigi Bigiarelli.

Grazie Luigi, 9-1-1900 will always be remembered.
