In his post match comments, the coach slams the media and is positive his team will fight for the 3rd place till the end. The tactician also avoided market talk.

"We come to win away after three defeats including the Italian Cup against Milan. We deserved more against Inter and we have proved to be a competitive team against big teams such as Inter and Milan. This victory is crucial to us, I don't think we were missing anything before, we have been playing the same since the beginning and we are on the right track.Considering our tight schedule, we needed this win." said Reja.

Asked if his team is fighting for top places, Reja answered:
"I cannot say where we will be at the end of the season, we will do our best and we cannot predict from now, we will know our real value at the end of the season. This year we are behind in defense compared to last season, but we scored more goals. This team can fight for top places. We have a tough game against Milan next, but this win gives us strength and morale. We only lost 4 times this season, and besides the game against Siena, we showed good form. We are starting the second half of the season on a good note, and we hope to continue. I believe this team can fight for the third place."

Reja went on to talk about his players:

"I don't need to tell you Klose is a champion, everyone knows that. As for Cisse, he is an extraordinary person, he is a professional and trains hard. I wish he can score more but is still a champion despite everything."

Asked about the reports of Cisse's exit, Reja avoided giving an answer: "You have to ask Tare or Lotito about this, I don't expect many changes in the mercato, I care about the players I have at my disposal and we are growing like we showed with this win, as for Honda, he is a good player, if he comes it would be good."

A thought about Lulic:
"Lulic is a fast player, he has a great work rate, but lacks in finishing. However he remains an important player for us defensively and offensively."

Finally, Reja took a shot at his critics in the media:

"I read the newspapers everyday, and I am used to criticism and while some of it is constructive, many other times it is not. They do no good, and I hope this win will ease those criticisms, bring calm and restore faith in the team."
