03/02/2012: S.S. Lazio release statement on Honda, Klose and support from the fans
email print
On Friday evening S.S. Lazio released a statement about the Honda transfer, the rumour about Klose's fight with the management and the support from the Lazio supporters.

CSKA has already officially spoken about the failed transfer and now Lazio do the same. Lazio confirm that the offer was 13 million Euros over three annual instalments, with the deal also including the goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo. This was the biggest offer made by an Italian club in the January mercato of 2012.

The club also denies that Miroslav Klose has complained about the management and refused to play against Milan on Wednesday. The reason for his absence was as reported first a injury.

The last statement is cryptic, saying that the support for the fans has helped the team a lot and the team has to continue to show their support.
