16/02/2012: Radu and Lulic can miss the game against Atletico

Tonight is one of the most important games for Lazio for this season. The Biancoceleste will face Atletico Madrid in a game of the Europa League competition. Having been frozen out for 12 days, the players returned to full speed training today at Formello. Edy Reja has some tough decisions to make as he will miss centre back Andre Dias, captain Rocchi, Brocchi and Mauri for sure. The new comer Alfaro is not included in the UEFA list so he can’t feature also. Stefano Mauri will fly tomorrow to Munich to get a check up to see if he’s ready to return to training. From the recent days the situation with Radu and Lulic is also undecided. The Romanian has only trained in water, but still feels pain in the knee, while Lulic still tries to recover from a knock in the calf since the game against Cesena. Expectations are he’ll start from the bench.
Edy Reja will stick to his 4-2-3-1 with Konko on the left back and Candreva taking Lulic’s place. Klose will be leading the attack. It will be his 80th game in the European tournaments.
