"I'm staying" - these words came from Edy Reja's mouth last night and put and end to all speculations circulating in the air around Lazio.
"Why I handed out my resignation? I had a difference in opinion with the president, but we talked since and we cleared the air, so I will stay with Lazio for now and the future" - Reja said in a press conference.
The coach also admited: "It was wrong of me to try and quit my role the way I did. I care about this team, the supporters and the colors."
The tactician is not angry with Lazio finding a replacement that soon (reports suggested president Lotito already had talks with De Canio and Zola). "It is their right to search for a replacement. It is logical" - Reja added.
