  03/03/2012: Primavera: Reggina - Lazio 0-2 (0-0)
email print
With a early kick off the Lazio Primavera team played Reggina away in the south of Italy. Alberto Bollini now have most players back from injury, but had to do without Zampa who will get a call-up for his first derby tomorrow.

Lazio (4-3-3): Berardi ('46 Mosciatti), Faggioli ('57 Sbraga), Vilkaitis, Ilari, Salustri; Onanzi, Cilfone, Cataldi ('85 Monteforte), Rozzi, Vivacqua, Barreto.

Unused subs: De Francesco, Andreoli, Dene, Emmanuel

Goals: Rozzi '48 & '60.

Reggina's main strategy was to not conceede and they started in a 5-3-2 formation. That did not help, and the on-form striker Antonio Rozzi secured the victory for Lazio with a double. That was Rozzi's 13 goal this season, with Lazio now dominating the top scoring charts. Only Ceccarelli (17) and Barreto (15) have more goals then Rozzi.

Just two minutes in to the second half Rozzi gave Lazio the lead after a pass from Onazi and 12 minutes later he scored again after a pass from Cataldi.

The bad news is that that goalkeeper Berardi had to leave the field at half time with a injury that seemed serious.

Next Saturday 9th placed Juve Stabia will come to Formello and Bollini will surely aim at another 3 points.
