27/03/2012: Sergio Zarate: Maurito still loves Lazio
email print
"Mauro would be happy to return back to Rome" - said Zarate's brother for Radio Mana Mana Sport. By now it is almost certain the forward is going to return to Lazio as he failed to impress Inter, where he is currently on loan.
"In this moment it is difficult to say what his future will be. Mauro still loves Rome, Lazio and its' supporters. Everything is now in the hands of Inter. If they choose to exercise the right of redemption he would be happy to stay. We all know what happened last year - if there were not misunderstandings with the coach, Mauro would never leave. The prospect of a return to Rome would be welcome, but everything is in Inter's hands" - finished Sergio Zarate.

Mauro Zarate had some misunderstandings with Edy Reja and that led to a loan move to Inter during the summer of 2011. However the Argentine failed to impress Ranieri and found himself playing very rarely. With the season coming to an end it is almost certain Inter will not buy Zarate's rights from Lazio.
