  17/03/2011: Kozak Received National Team Call-Up

Czech Republic coach Michal Bilek has reportedly revealed Lazio striker Libor Kozak will be called up by the national team to take on Spain and Liechtenstein in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

The 21-year-old Lazio striker has been a revelation in season 2010/2011, scoring five goals in six games. His first goal was against Fiorentina on Lazio away game just after he subbed Rocchi. He also scored a decisive goal against Sampdoria just after he subbed Floccari. Another 2 goals was against Fiorentina at Olimpico, and his last goal against Brescia at Mario Rigamonti stadium on 13 February 2011.

He is delighted to receive a call up to represent the Czech Republic.

“I am impatient to get in contact with players of great experience like Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky.” Kozak said during an interview.

The Euro 2012 qualifications between  Spain vs Czech Republic will be on Friday, 25 March 2011, and Czech Republic vs Liechtenstein, will be on Tuesday, 29 March 2011.
