“The door was haunted between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. We created chances, but we couldn’t put them in. If we can’t score, there is little to speak about. With Lecce scoring in the 91st minute after six rebounds it is definitely not our season.” – said Edy Reja after the loss of Lazio against Novara this Wednesday  - “It is such a period between many injuries and bad luck, don’t even know who to take it to, but still to win was in our reach today.”

“For what we have the team played well. We were not going with a slow pace. Had we won it wouldn’t be a surprise, unfortunately there are things beyond your limits. The absence of quality players weighs and I can’t ask player, that get little play time, to substitute them well.”

Then Reja spoke about the disallowed goal of Kozak: “They told me it was an offside, but the linesman was in midfield. I do not know precisely who canceled the goal. The offside is there I just want to know who canceled the goal.”

Next game Lazio face Udinese in a direct battle for the third spot. “We try to work on ball possession with passes. Klose? I hope he can return for the last two games. We need him if we want to get third place.  I hope I can have someone else available for Udine as Candreva is disqualified. I hope, I can’t do anything else.”

Reja showed also his dissatisfaction with Rocchi and Kozak: “I tried to put Rozzi up front as we were struggling. Kozak did not step up with his height, which should be his strong side.”
