  18/05/2012: Lazio deny Reja departure
email print
SS Lazio ahve moved to quash speculation that Edy Reja has left the club. Reports earlier this week suggested that Reja's services may be retained for an additional year but the coach himself was quoted as saying yesterday that he was at home and that that was a clear indication of his status with the club.

The short statement released through the SS Lazio translates as:

"In relation to the runmours that have emerged in recent days suggesting the company wants to replace or suggest new figures to coach the club, we would like to stress that these reports have no foundation whatsoever."

Reja is said to have resigned twice already and if you believe SS Lazio, he has yet to make it third time lucky.
