25/05/2012: Tare confirms interest in Ederson and Breno

Speaking to LazioStyle Radio yesterday afternoon, Igli Tare shed some light on Lazio's transfer activity but stressed that deals for Ederson and Breno were not as advanced as the media were suggesting. One particular report emerged from the normally reliable Kicker magazine, who claimed that Igli Tare had snapped defender Breno up on a three-year deal pending upon a non-guilty verdict in the Bayern Munich player's court case. Tare was quick to dimsiss the report.
"I can confirm that I have been interviewed by Kicker but I never talked about a contract, I only confirmed that Lazio were interested in the player. The player is going through a process and we have to wait for the verdict."
Breno is not allowed to leave Germany until a verdict has been given and if guilty, the player is most likely unable to sign for Lazio. Tare turned his attention to Ederson:
"We have had contact regarding Ederson on several occasions in the last few months. We have to finalise details but I am optimistic."
Regarding the employment of a new coach, Tare had little to say but did acknowledge that the club were considering various options:
"I can not say when we will have a new coach, there are different solutions there for us. As soon as we have the new manager, we will communicate it officially."
