It only took Lazio four minutes to take the lead when Emmanuel Sani slipped past the Torino defence. Lazio continued to play attacking football and created more chances. Both Onazi and Cataldi tried to beat Gomis in the Torino several times with long range shots.
In the second half Emmanuel Sani again scored for Lazio after a beautiful attack by the Biancocelesti on the right side.
After that Lazio looked like controlling the match. Since the semi finals will be played in a few days the players did not push for the third goal, and Bollini decided to take Emmanuel Sani off before he could complete his hattrick.
Torino managed to make it exciting again when they scored in the 91st minute, but after that they failed to create any more chances and Lazio won the match.
In the semi finals Lazio will play city rivals Roma who beat Varese 4-0 earlier today. Coach Alberto Bollini said on TV after the match that it is so much more then just a semi final and they will do everything to win. He also said that he is proud to be one of the four best primavera teams in the country.
