La Gazzetta dello Sport are carrying a story on Vladimir Petkovic and his preparations for Auronzo di Cadore. The newspaper believes that he will take a 30-32 man squad on retreat including a host of youth products. Eddy Onazi is said to be a definite inclusion for the Bosnian coach who is set to meet Director of Sport, Igli Tare about the Auronzo di Cadore plans tomorrow. The tactician is hoping to have Burak Yilmaz at his disposal too; Lotito remains in negotiations with the Trabzonspor president and the newspaper reckon that Petkovic's system for the players could be defined by the success of the negotiations. Should Yilmaz sign for Lazio, Petkovic is likely to test a 3-4-3 formation but should there be any further delays, Petkovic is expected to opt for a four-man defence.

Andrea Pugliese carries a story for the paper on Gianmarco Nesta, Alessandro's nephew who has left Lazio to sign for bitter rivals, Roma, It is said that Roma have the better facilities for young Gianmarco, who is believed to be a much better player than Marco Di Vaio or Paolo Di Canio were at their age.

In relation to transfer rumours, Alfaro is being linked with a loan move to Spanish overachievers Levante while Perparim Hetemaj, a Lazio fan but Chievo player, is being linked with a move to Rome. La Repubblica are also carrying a story on Hetemaj's proposed move.

Corriere dello Sport have an article on Lazio's search for full-backs. They claim that Davide Santon is back on the Lazio radar, a player that Lazio like but a player who Lazio have refused in negotiations with Inter for both Pandev and more recently, Zarate. Anthony Vanden Borre would be the cheap option having been released by Racing Genk. Petkovic is said to like Philippe Koch while Argentine sensation Luciano Abecasis is a potential gamble. They paper admit, however, that Federico Balzaretti is the hot favourite.
