03/07/2012: Tare: "Lazio has always been helpful towards Gianmarco Nesta"

Igli Tare tells the microphones of Lazio Style Radio that, like his uncle, Gianmarco Nesta was tracked by Lazio.

The young Roman just signed for bitter rivals Roma which has given some Laziali a bitter taste in their mouths.

Tare said: "These days I read in the papers that Lazio did not want the nephew of Alessandro Nesta. Two years ago we contacted Gianmarco to bring him to Lazio. Patarca confirmed the approach of the Company to the boy. There was a meeting at Formello in which I pointed out that the doors were always open for the boy and that we would be happy to welcome him in our youth. At the time we were told he was still too young and, further, would certainly have chosen a team as important as Lazio. Last year he also attended the Summer Camp at Lazio but unfortunately he has not followed on it. I want to emphasize that Lazio has always been responsive and helpful towards Gianmarco."
