Reported today in the Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are still very much in the hunt for a left back to fill the void that has been there since Kolarov. Many players have been signed or tried to fill the role, Garrido, Del Nero, Cavanda, Stankevivcius, Zauri and even Diakite. Despite Radu's good performances he is a preferred centre back. La Gazzetta dello Sport insist that Balzaretti is still the hot favourite to fill that role, however the player has lately said he is likely to be either at Palermo or PSG next season, could this be a cover up or will Lazio have to keep hunting for the third summer in a row?

Lazio's number one target for upfront - claims la Repubblica - remains Yilmaz. Despite weeks of negotiations no deal has been struck. Lotito has now personally flown to Turkey to attempt to conclude the deal. It seems he has offered 7 million Euros for the striker, 5 million to be paid upfront and a further 2 million to be settled at the end of 2012. The striker himself would be presented with the offer of 2.1 million euros per season with bonuses which could see his wage rise to 2.5 million - the likes that only Klose and Zarate enjoy.

Today Ederson will make his trip to the Paideia clinic and will be officially presented to the media tomorrow at Formello. The Breno case has been complicated by the testimony of his wife, claiming he "attempted suicide and was possessed by the devil". Meanwhile Luciano Zauri has denied reports of a move to Spain as "no one has contacted him".

Zarate has once again declared his "love" for Lazio, however Petkovic will be assessing the player in Auronzo and will most likely stay on the market until the end of summer according to the Corriere dello Sport. He will be joined by Floccari who is of interest of Fiorentina, Torino, Pescara and Siena. Garrido and Alfaro look set for exits, most likely to be loans out of Rome and Bologna is emerging as a possibile destination for Carizzo should they sell star keeper Gillet. If not he could follow Foggia to Pescara. The Rome paper also expect many youngsters once again moving on loan to Salerno, Lanciano and Bari.
