Not much change in relation to the mercato. Il Corriere della serra claim that Igli Tare will talk to Juventus about Milos Krasic, Reto Ziegler and Michele Pazienza but other than that rumour, there is nothing fresh in today's newpapers. The focus is on Xandao with Corriere dello Sport carrying a new article on the Sao Paolo centre-back.

Gazzetta dello Sport choose instead to focus on a piece regarding Stefano Mauri's freedom to train as well as a favourable write-up on Lazio's training regime.

Meanwhile, Il Tempo discuss Petkovic's two tactical options: the 4-3-1-2 and 4-2-3-1. Both systems would see Stefano Mauri demoted to the bench. The choice is simple; does Petkovic opt for more defensive protection with Lorik Cana or more firepower with Mauro Zarate? The defence appears to be fixed: Radu or Garrido will play at left-back with Dias and Diakite' forming a pairing in the centre of defence with Konko at right-back. Ledesma, Hernanes, Lulic and Ederson all feature in midfield but their roles change based on the formation. In the 4-3-1-2, Ederson would be utilised as the trequartista with the other three playing in a deeper role. This would allow Petkovic to field the potentially mouthwatering Zarate - Klose. In the 4-2-3-1, Zarate would likely be dropped in favour of fielding Cana alongised Ledesma in the centre of the park. Klose would play on his lonesome with Ederson, Hernanes and Lulic behind him.
