 Il Corriere dello Sport claim that Lotito and Preziosi have agreed terms over the transfer of Swedish defender Andreas Granqvist to Lazio. The players agent is expected in Rome to finalise the transfer in which his client will have a year long loan with an option to buy of 4.5 million Euros. This figure could be lowered by 2m should Carizzo complete a similar move in the opposite direction. There are still rumours about more business between the two clubs involving Matuzalem, Merkel and Antonelli.
Thoughts are then turned to Lazio's 'friendly' win over Salernitana last night and the attacks by the Grenata fans on the Lazio fan's buses.
If all goes to plan Cristian Brocchi could be back training with Lazio in a months time. However Hernanes is likely to miss the friendly with Getafe with a slight muscle strain. The rest of the players have the day off today before intense training resumes at Formello.
