 Gilardino is the latest rumour linked to Lazio by il Corriere dello Sport. Preziosi is keen to sign Marco Borriello but would need to offload Gilardino to do so. Apparently he has already sounded out Lotito and negotiations could take place over the coming weeks.
It seems the Carrizo-Granqvist swap is all but a done deal and Lazio will look to left-back role again with Peluso or Aogo thought to be 2 candidates as it is reported that Lazio have crossed Ziegler (due to his rejection last summer) and Drenthe off the list.
Ederson is likely to return to training in 10 days and should be available for the Europa League qualifiers. Meanwhile Miroslav Klose continues his individual training regime to bring him up to speed with the rest of the squad and is likely to start teh friendly against Getafe.
