20/10/2012: Hernanes: "We made the leap tonight"
email print
Hernanes once again was in form as Lazio took the 3 points against out of sorts A.C Milan tonight. Hernanes opened the scoring before a Candreva stunner and a Klose volley secured the points.

Hernanes said to Sky Sports: "I think we made the leap tonight, even we conceded the first goal which sparked Milan's reaction. We cannot concede goals like that. We did well, we have made a leap in quality and we have confirmed the performances before the international break. We have to continue with this mentality, always looking for more".

"We are doing well, we have learned from our mistakes. I think this is the difference compared to the last 2 years. We want to do more and if so we can continue to fight for a place in the Champions League".

After another good performance from Hernanes, reporters asked him about his chances at international level with Menezes. "He knows me. I think about doing my job within the team. This is a message not only for him, because I'm playing for myself, my family and my friends. I dedicate this goal to my new-born niece in Brazil".
