email print
"At the final whistle I was sure he had won the game and I was relieved because we had to suffer at the end. We knew that Roma always start well and we could not contain them well, then we grew and we were able to make the difference. We showed our quality, not only with regards to technique and tactics but also mental and temperamental".

Roma had taked the lead but Lazio fought back and won 3-2 in a very wet afternoon at the Olimpico. "We have prepared well for this game as we did in the Europa League and won an important victory by managing to get the best out of the whole squad. We took to the field excited and I tried to throw water on the fire to keep my boys restrained and gain concentration without risking them becoming demorilized after going 1-0 down."
