  06/02/2013: Saha Deal Off?
email print

Lazio's deal for Louis Saha is off, according to the latest reports.

Saha cancelled his contract with Sunderland on January 31st when the market was still open but as his contract was terminated, rather than expired, he is not permitted to sign for a club where the transfer window is closed.

If the reports are true, then Saha, despite being a free agent, cannot sign for any club within a major European league.
