14/03/2013: Mauri: "Prefer Basel in the Q-Final"
email print
Lazio midfielder Stefano Mauri comments on the win over Stuttgart and Lazio's future in the competition.

"We were good to store the win away, but playing without fans is not football. Now we are in the quarter finals, we will wait and see the draw. We have always believed and we want to go far. Now we must focus again on Serie A as we do not have much time, then we will think of Europe again".

Lazio moved into the quarter finals with a 5-1 aggregate win over Stuttgart and could face one of Tottenham, Basel, Fenerbahce, Chelsea, Newcastle, Benfica or Rubin Kazan.

"Which team would I like in the quarter finals? Basel, but at this point one is as good as the other."
