email print
Klose's record 5 goals yesterday helped Lazio to a 6-0 win over Bologna yesterday, ending a dry spell and bringing the team back to victory.

"Five goals in one match? I had already done this with Kaiserslautern, but my five goals today were about the team as a whole. We worked hard the last few days and I am very pleased with the performance and my goals."

"We are coming off a difficult moment but we reacted well today. I am happy that the team has returned to winning. I dedicate my goals to my family and to Lazio, who are my second family."

Klose became the first Lazio player in history to score 5 goals in a match and the first in Serie A since 1986.
