06/06/2013: Italian Supercup: Juve still stalling
email print
Where will the Italian Supercup be played? The original agreement was to play in Beijing on August 10th however Juventus are still looking at alternatives.

Both teams would split a cool 3.5 million for playing in Asia, however the decision must be made today if they want any chance of honouring the original agreement.

The problem lies with Juventus and their American tour. The bianconeri would like the venue to be moved to the States to ease their traveling but so far no promoters have been confirmed as interested.

Lotito has made it publicly clear that he wants the final in China as it would look bad to go back on the original agreement.

One other option being floated is to simply play the game at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
