All of the papers are understandably focused on Stefano Mauri's case with the tribunal which has now started in Rome and is expected to finish tomorrow. Both Lazio and Mauri could face penalties with the latter even at risk of having to cut short his career should things not go in his favour.

The latest according to Gazzetta dello Sport is that the first game (Lazio - Genoa) is in the balance as both Mauri and Milanetto could be acquitted of the first offence while there are doubts over the second match (Lecce - Lazio). There is hope that Lazio and Genoa could escape with fines.

Please note, this is newspaper speculation. No verdict has been reached.

Elsewhere, as reported by Lazioland.com this morning, Lucas Biglia has officially signed a contract with Lazio to tie him to the club for 5 years.

Finally there has been confirmation of upcoming Lazio friendlies in the near future. Lazio will take on Spezia in Auronzo before flying to Athens to play Panithinaikos on August 4th. Lazio will then travel to London to play Crystal Palace on August 10th.
