A 10 a.m. start welcomed the players as more tactical work was on the menu. Felipe Anderson took part in the session as his ankle injury seems to be a distant memory. Petkovic tried everything from 3-5-2, 3-4-3 to 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 as he looks for the best formation to start the season with.
The session was brought to a close and Lazio played out their final friendly against Spezia in the afternoon. Lazio ran out 3-0 winners with Ederson scoring again and Rozzi bagging a second half brace. Stefano Mauri played despite the tribunal case but the nerves may have gotten to him as he missed a penalty following a foul on Klose.
