27/07/2013: Hernanes plays down PSG speculation
email print
Anderson Hernanes has revealed in his return to Rome that he is happy at S.S. Lazio and that the rumours surrounding his future are 'all talk':

"For the market, there is time until September 2, but the talk about PSG is all talk. I have a contract to 2015 and I am happy here."

Hernanes then focused his attention towards the new season:

"The season starts immediately with a strong emotion. It will be a big game [in the Supercup v Juventus] and I hope to be on form to arrive there, perform and win. I expect a better season than last - having won the Coppa Italia, we are motivated."

It seems clear that Hernanes expects to be at Lazio for a few more weeks at least, if not the season ahead, but his agent admitted last month that there have been no negotiations for a new deal which has intensified rumours in recent weeks. PSG are reported to have offered in the region of 21 million euro for the Brazilian midfielder but the rumour has yet to surface in Italian dailies, suggesting that there is no real evidence of a bid.
