This morning il Corriere dello Sport have an article regarding Stefano Mauri's case with the tribunal. Today should be when the Disciplinary Committee will publish the penalties. CdS believe that following a short announcement last night that Lazio will have no points deduction, only receiving a fine, and Stefano Mauri will receive a 6 month ban for failing to report suspicious behavior prior to the Lecce - Lazio match. It is a similar punishment that saw Cannavaro suspended last season with the penalty being revoked after an appeal.

This is newspaper speculation. No official judgement has been made.

All the newspapers are discussing the new fixtures for Serie A with Lazio being handed a difficult start with Udinese, Juventus, Chievo and then the Derby. Petkovic was happy with the draw:

"It is positive. We will be motivated and fired up right from the start to get the best result from a difficult opponent. We have Juventus next, it will be an opportunity for one of us to take revenge. The early Derby is good too, it will bring people an enthusiasm to the stadium. We must be calm and take it one game at a time".
