28/08/2013: Lotito Meets Tulun Over Yilmaz
email print
Bulent Tulun, the DS of Turkish giants Galatasaray, has today visited Claudio Lotito in Villa San Sebastiano. The topic of the meeting is no secret; Lazio are looking to strengthen the attack by adding much wanted Burak Yilmaz. If reports are to be trusted the Turkish hitman has requested a transfer to the Roman club and in accordance with this the two clubs are looking to settle a deal before the transfer window closes on Monday.

Having joined Galatasaray from Trabzonspor last summer Yilmaz has a lengthy contract with his current club and will not be let off at any discount price. Having bagged a total of 34 goals in all competitions, including eight goals in the Champions League, the value has steadily increased since the rumoured €6 million fee paid last summer and it is confirmed that €18 million is what is being asked for now. Rumours state that Lotito has offered €10 million upfront, with an additional €5 million being connected to the performance of the striker. In the deal also 25% must be passed on to Trabzonspor and this is something that might turn problematic as the details are being settled.

The negotiations are in full swing and just a short while ago Lotito, Tare, Tulun, Calveri and the Turkish ambassadeur to Italy were seen leaving Villa San Sebastiano. The negotiations will be ongoing through the day and hopes are that a deal will be reached as soon as possible.
