With more than a year on the sidelines, Mourad still silently and patiently fought his injuries. And now finally, the Algerian national returned to training with his teammates. Mourad recovered from an operation in his left knee and Edy Reja welcomed him with open arms.

Reja has never had the chance to see Meghni in training as when Reja came to save Lazio from relegation, Meghni was already injured.

He was called with the team to the game against Brescia and Cesena and Reja has always reiterated that Mourad will soon have his chance.

When interviewed by an Algerian newspaper, Tare said:
"The past two years have been terribly difficult for Mourad. He has been hampered by Injuries, but now the worst is gone and I think very soon he will return to the team.

When asked about the future of the Algerian Tare gave a positive feedback: "Meghni has a contract with Lazio until 2012 and he is a part of our project."
