After the impressive 5-1 against Napoli in the first round the Lazio primavera shared the top of the table with six other teams. The first away fixture of the season was against newly promoted Trapani.
Bollini opted for his usual 4-3-3 formation with highly rated Tounkara up front. New signing Josip Elez made the bench for the young eagles, and will have to wait atleast another week for his debut.
Lazio tried to punish Trapani early on, and both Tounkara and Lombardi came to chances early on. In the 17th minute it was time for the first goal of the day. Tounkara made it 1-0 with his first goal of the season.
Trapani came more in to the match after this and in the 35th minute they managed to surprise Guerrieri with a goal directly from a corner.
Bollini decided to make some changes before the second half, and was rewarded right away. After switching Palombi and Antic with Pace and Fiore, young Fiore only used 1 minute to take Lazio in to the lead again.
Tounkara had time for a second goal making it 3-1 and top of the table for the primavera.
Next up for the boys is Catania at home in two weeks, after the international break.
