12/09/2013: Klose: "I have two offers from the US"

In recents days, a contract extension has been said to be on the table for Miroslav Klose but the German striker has hinted to the Bild newspaper in Germany that a new adventure in the US may tempt him beyond 2014:

"It is a fact that I already have two very good offers from the US. This is an option, but my contract with Lazio lasts for one year and who knows how it will end. I would not rule anything out at this time."

Klose is also open to a return to Kaiserslautern - the German side who launched his footballing career:

"It is, and always has been, a team that I have a special bond with. The transfer of Mesut Ozil shows that you should never rule anything out in football. One day you are happy at a club, the next day you are gone."

"I want to win the World Cup with Germany, this is my priority and we will go for this. It is clear that there are other manor national teams who share this goal and we have to respect them. However, if we realise our potential, I have no worries."
