12/04/2011: Zamparini: "Lotito called me to warn me from Roma"
email print
It is another Derby between Roma and Lazio, this time for the Champions League spot. Zamparini while speaking to Radio 24 claimed that Lotito called him to warn him about any irregularities that might be taken in favor of Roma: "We play Roma next week, and for that, President Lotito called me to warn me about what might happen. He asked me to watch out and see what will happen."

"Lotito supports the idea of forming a committee to monitor the referees in the remaining six weeks of the championship. He believes there are people fighting Lazio and favoring Roma. I just think he is funny, I don't understand him most of the times, especially when he starts speaking about Plato and Socrates." joked Zamparini.

President Lotito then called to deny that he ever called Zamparini to talk about the above.
