The free kick specialist played nearly 200 matches for Lazio over 6 seasons whilst netting 32 goals in the process. He is currently the coach of the Serbian national team.

He spoke to Ansa Italia about the current situation at the club;

”At the moment the Biancocelesti are going through a difficult time but they have a coach who is the right one for the club. Vladimir Petkovic is good technically and he has already proven this''.

”Last year Lazio did very well with Petkovic in charge. He managed to get the most out of his players and they were rewarded with success in the Coppa Italia and some good performances in the Europa League”.

When asked about his current position as coach of the Serbian national team Mihajlovic responded, “I am proud to be coaching my national side. It is a great honour and I am enjoying it. However, one day
when my contract ends with the national team if I am given the opportunity to return to Rome, I will gladly take it. I have Lazio in my blood. I have such good memories of the fans and the club during the time I spent there”, concluded Mihajlovic.
