  09/12/2013: "We need to be united'': Petkovic

Following yet another away loss at Torino, the Swiss tactician believes his side cannot be entirely blamed for the run of bad results but rather that Lazio have been unlucky and the club needs to stay united in order to move past the current winless streak.

Speaking to the press after the match, Petkovic stated;
"Today we deserved to win. The team played well but we were unfortunate once again. The lads had desire but without conviction and because of that we paid dearly for our own carelessness. We did not exploit the opportunities we created. The only thing we can do is continue working hard to overcome this moment. We must remain united".

He was then asked about Lazio’s upcoming Europa League and Serie A clashes; "We have two decisive games coming up, first against Trabzonspor and then Livorno. We must win both these matches to finish top of our group and to get back on track in Serie A respectively" (Repubblica.it).
