Edy Reja saw his side score 10 in his first test as re-appointed Lazio manager. Although still not been officially announced, he was watching with assistant manager Bollini as his side struggled in the first half but ran riot in the second.

The first half line-up was Marchetti with Konko, Biava, Dias and Pereirinha in defence. Onazi and Ledesma were in midfield as Reja was using his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation and had Lulic, Hernanes and Candreva behind Klose. The first half was a tale of the last 4 months with plenty of shots but no goals. Klose bagging the only Lazio goal after the visitors opened the scoring.

The second brought changes with Berisha replacing Marchetti, Gonzalez, Novaretti, Ciani and Vinicius came on at the back. Cana and Biglia took to the midfield and Ederson, Anderson and Keita played behind Floccari. There were no porblems scoring in the second half with Biglia scoring two, Ederson four and Vinicius and Keita finishing the rout.

The team received a standing ovation at the end of the match from the 3000 Laziali with many hoping that the players' new found positivity will result in a better year.
