16/01/2014: Lotito focuses his attention on Quagliarella
email print
Lazio have been linked to a whole host of strikers ever since Burak Yilmaz's proposed transfer to the capital fell through in the summer and Edy Reja's admission that Lazio will sign players in January has increased the speculation. The Matri rumour died once it emerged that he was en route to Fiorentina, but now it seems clear that Lotito is set to renew his interest in Quagliarella.

It had been reported by Il Messaggero in recent days that Lotito may be prepared to repeat the six million euro offer the president claimed to have made in the summer.

Today, Corriere dello Sport claim that Juventus are now looking for more money, somewhere in the region of 8 million euro while Lotito is less keen on a permanent transfer and wants a loan with right of redemption.

Quagliarella's wage demands are said not to be a concern - he would be paid 1.5 million plus bonuses.
