19/01/2014: "This victory is decisive for us"; Biglia

"Today we had a great desire to win away from home and end our away winless streak. In the past 10 months we had collected only 3 points on the road, and winning at Udinese is a very difficult task. They are a very strong side at home, but we did well not to lose patience even when we were reduced to 10 men. We remained calm and that was the key to our victory”, stated Lucas Biglia.

”The coach supported us constantly on the sideline by giving us confidence and believing in us.
We all knew we could win the game, this victory is decisive for us”, Biglia said of Reja and what it means for him and his teammates.

Looking ahead to the match against Juventus the midfielder said; “The next match will be very important as we need to continue this good form against a very strong Juventus team. We know where we are now and we hope to continue doing well and move upwards”.

The Argentinean then reflected on the last game of 2013; “After the 4-1 loss away at Hellas Verona just before the mid season break, we lost a lot of confidence and needed to regain that. Today was that day, we proved we are a good side and have our confidence and belief back. Hernanes really made the difference at the end.
He is the most important player on the team I believe”.

”We are very happy for this win as our fans deserve it. We will enjoy it but Reja has told us to quickly focus on the Juventus match and we will resume training tomorrow morning"; concluded Biglia.
