03/02/2014: Lotito: We will focus on young players
email print
"We will focus on young player who we have invested in."

Claudio Lotito was satisfied after the 2-0 away victory against Chievo Verona. He also spoke about the January transfer market:

"It's not that the players don't want to come to Lazio, it's just because they don't want to change clubs in January. They wanted different things - Quagliarella wanted to stay at Juve until the summer and will think about his future after that."

"Biabiany was asked by Ghirardi in the last day of the mercato. We found an agreement with Parma but the player refused the good offer we made him."

"It's not true that players reject Lazio. Look at Klose - he is the opposite example."

"I get threats every day but I try to go forward and keep working hard."

Lazio president also spoke about Keita's recent performances:

"We had no doubts about his abbilities. We have a project and we know how to continue working on that."

"With the new Financial Fair Play rules we have to be even more careful how we spend our money. We have to stay balanced and I've been saying that for 9 years and now we are healthier and have invested a lot of money... not the banks."
