26/02/2014: Injury update ahead of Ludogorets
email print
Almost a clean bill of health for Lazio, but as usual we like to keep Paideia in business. Andre Dias is the only player out of training at the moment and Dr. Bianchini confirmed today that the Brazilian will be out for up to 3 weeks:

"We did an ultrasound and MRI scan and the result is a first degree injury to the lower bicep of the left thigh. It is not very serious but the player will follow a specific protocol for recovery set at 20-21 days."

There are better news for Postiga and Marchetti. The Portuguese is training with teammates and could make the trip but is obviously lacking fitness. Marchetti on the other hand looks to have recovered from his sports hernia and is the favourite to start on Thursday night against the Bulgarians.
