  21/05/2014: Reja demands clear communication
email print
The meeting was scheduled for Monday, and then postponed until Tuesday, and then it did not take place at all. It is believed, however, that Edy Reja and Claudio Lotito did get the opportunity to discuss the future of Lazio, but over the phone yesterday.

La Repubblica are now speculating as to the nature of the conversation. As Reja suggested in his post-match press conference in Sunday, his issues with the direction of the club are as much off-field as on-field. La Repubblica claim that the first step on the road to recovery is for Claudio Lotito and Director of Sport Igli Tare to begin giving clear messages to the fans regarding the objectives of the club, stressing the limitations of the society if necessary.

The second step is to reinforce in defence and midfield. It is thought the project is to bring the average age of the squad down to around 25 and add four of five players from the Primavera into the mix.
