  01/06/2014: Reja to leave!
email print
Edy Reja has announced he will leave Lazio after a difference of opinion with the management, il Messaggero report.

Reja was watching the Giro d'Italia when he told friends that he would part ways with Lazio. According to the paper, Reja had discussed the direction which the club would take and was the base of his decision. Apparently Reja told a friend:

"I do not like this project. I will leave Lazio. They told me to take a week and relax while they assess the situation - I am stressed! I will go back to Rome and announce the divorce. Money? That's not a problem, there are more important things in life."

It is widely expected that Simone Inzaghi will replace Reja on the bench while the other candidates being speculated are Allegri, Pioli and De Francesco.
