15/06/2014: Candreva reiterates desire to leave Lazio

Having admitted to the microphones of the French television programme Téléfoot that he was interested in a move to PSG and would be eagerly anticipating developments, Antonio Candreva suggested for the second time this week that he has outgrown Lazio in an interview with Sky following Italy's 2-1 win over England:

"I want to do well and play in the Champions League, and I hope to have a great World Cup and then we will see what happens."

Antonio Candreva was man-of-the-match for many in Italy's controlled victory over England, but it is likely his future lies anywhere but Lazio. Gianluca Di Marzio has interpreted Candreva's words as a refreshingly clear statement that he intends to impress at the World Cup to help him earn a move away from Lazio, and the Sky Italia journalist claims PSG, Napoli and Juventus remain interested.

The PSG rumours have cooled since Candreva's admission that he would see them as an option, but Napoli President Aurelio De Luarentiis said he would make an offer if he thought Candreva was available for a sensible price while Juventus are said to be considering Candreva over long-term target Nani.

Claudio Lotito claims Lazio now own 100% of Candreva, but this is not true. It is believed such a deal is tied to the purchase of Udinese's Dusan Basta, but Lazio only have until Friday 20th June to complete such a deal, otherwise Candreva's signature will go to a blind auction.
