There are very few people in the world who would say no to a visit the most popular beach on the planet - Copacabana in Rio. A young Brazlian who plays in Lazio was born a few minutes away from the legendary sands. That player is Vinicius de Freitas Ribeiro. He is enjoying his holiday in Brazil and is watching the World cup in his homeland. He gave an interview while he was playing with some young kids on the sands where his first football steps were made.

"My family is from Rio. I started playing football here, like all these children. My dream was to play in Europe, an offer came from Italy and I just couldn't resist it. I love Italy."

"I really like Rome, it's like my home city Rio. I feel like I'm home in Brazil."

He also spoke about his ambitions to show what he can do and if he thinks he is ready to fight for a starting stop at Lazio.

"My intention is to return to Lazio. I like to play outside with a three man defense. In Padova I was used as a left back in a tactic with four defenders. I feel I'm ready to return to Lazio."

Vinicius was also asked about Antonio Candreva.

"He is a very strong player, another level. I hope that he will stay next season."

He was also asked about Keita.

"You don't see players like him every day. If he keeps his feet on the ground he can become a big champion, a star player."

Vinicius will enjoy the rest of his holiday in Rio hoping that next season he will get a chance to show what he can do at Lazio.
