30/07/2014: Lazio continue to add to roster

With Stefan De Vrij and Edson Braafheid on the verge of being officially unveiled as Lazio players, Igli Tare has turned his attention to the Primavera while Claudio Lotito thinks about Salernitana. As a result, a number of new and unfamiliar faces are expected to join Lazio in the coming weeks.

Tare has cast his eye over Barcelona's youth and reportedly has his eye on three players. The wonderfully-named Fortis Muns, 19, and Cristian Fabra, 17, are expected to be handed a two-week trial with Simone Inazghi and the Lazio Primavera. Muns is a defensive midfielder and could be seen as the Primavera's successor to Josip Elez while Fabra is a talented centre-back.

The third player is Patric, a 21 year-old right-back who features regularly for Barcelona's B team in Liga Adelante. All three players have the same agent and Tare is hopeful he can push on matters next week.

Perhaps the most interesting propsect to be linked with Lazio is Lithuanian striker, Edvinas Baniulis. The 17 year-old is already a champion in Lithuania having just won the league with Zalgiris, featuring for 91 minutes during the league campaign, and finding the back of the net on one occasion.

Pescara's 29 year-old forward Ferdinando Sforzini has also been linked with Lazio. The once prolific Serie B forward is expected to sign a three-year deal with the club within the next 24 hours before heading to Salernitana on loan to link up with former manager Mario Somma.
