14/09/2014: Candreva: "I want to become a bandiera here"
email print
Antonio Candreva was voted man of the match this afternoon after a blistering performance against Cesena where he scored a volley and provided an assist for Parolo. Speaking to SkySport Italia, the Roman said:

"We missed the fans, it's nice to see them cheering in the stands. They were our twelfth man on the field. We are happy with the win, let's hope it's just the beginning. Pioli asks us to play attacking football but against Milan we were unlucky. It was a great performance today, a well deserved victory."

Candreva was linked with many moves this summer but has remained in the capital, he confirmed:

"There was the possibility of changing colours, but I wanted to stay. When I arrived here I expressed the desire to become a bandiera here."
