Following the Primavera side’s impressive 3-0 away win at Livorno, the coach Simone Inzaghi and several players took the time out to speak to Lazio Style Radio 89.3;

“The boys are aware of their strength, they are not going to stop when they are winning, they have a strong mentality. The goal that Chris Oikonomidis scored gave us the strength to pave the way for the rest of the match. We were able to better find the game after this goal, despite the heavy pitch. We adapted well, learned some things about our opponent but also ourselves, and we were able to achieve our goal which was winning the match”, stated Inzaghi.

“We have to think game by game and the rewards will come. Thanks to the coach I am growing both technically and when in possession of the ball. It was a tough game. They played at home and they are a good team, but we managed to demonstrate our superiority, stated goalkeeper Guido Guerrieri.

I am happy to have scored but also for the team's victory as that was very important. We are doing very well and are on the right track. The field today was not like the one we have in Formello, so it was difficult to play our game but we did well and had a good game. We are all happy with the result. The technical quality is there and we are in a good shape. Our next game against Palermo will be difficult but if we believe in our quality, we can do well”, stated Chris Oikonomidis.

“It is very important for the team for the attacking players to be scoring goals so we are happy to have a great attack who performed very well today. The strength of our team is that we are unpredictable going forward. We have been together for three years and are always working hard to get better and better. We a great team and players with experience, so we hope to continue like this”, stated Simone Palombi.
