22/12/2014: Felipe Anderson: "My feet are on the ground"
email print

Even though Felipe Anderson scored twice against Inter at the San Siro Lazio couldn’t win and end 2014 with a victory. The Brazilian was still happy about his performance last night:

“We started off well and managed to score an early goal. The first half was perfect for us. We knew that in the second half Inter will attack and we just couldn’t stop them from equalizing. I was really happy to score twice tonight but I the final result wasn’t good enough. We know our goal and we must try to do better in such games”.

“I am delighted to have helped the team with these two goals in such an important game. I’m sorry that we couldn’t bring home all three points but we will keep on working and try to play as good as in the first half against Inter. Today is my father’s birthday and I wanted to score a goal and I did. I always pray to the Lord for protection for me and my team mates. I hope to continue helping Lazio and playing as good as I’m doing now next year. My feet are on the ground. It’s just the begging and I can help my team. Hard work is needed”.

He also spoke about Lazio’s chances to finish in top 3:

“Third place? We know we can do it. We have a lot of quality in our team”.
